Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to survey the petitioner's land and issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the land situate at Sathangadu Village, North Madras (Madras Corporation), comprised in S.Nos.309, 310/1 and 310/2 with an extent of 3060 sq feets, by considering the application made by the Petitioner, dated 10.03.2015 within the time frame fixed. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims to be the absolute owner of the land comprised in S.Nos.309, 310/1 and 310/2 situate at Sathangadu Village, Manai, Chennai - 600 068 admeasuring to an extent of 3060 sq. ft., and submit an application dated 10.03.2015 for transfer of patta in her name to the second respondent and since on orders have been passed, came forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.T.Ram Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Navaneethan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 10.03.2015 in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
