This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.804 of 2022 on the file of first respondent police.

2. Heard Mr.D.Dayalan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate [Crl.Side] appearing for first respondent.

3. Learned Government Advocate [Crl.side], on instructions, submitted that investigation has been completed and final report has been filed before the XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, and the same is yet to be taken on file.

4. In view of the above development, there is no scope to quash the First Information Report at this stage. There shall be a direction to the XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, to act upon the final report filed on 30.11.2022 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If ultimately, the concerned Court takes cognizance of the final report and summons is issued to the petitioner 2/4
