Prayer in W.P.No.22168 of 2004 Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Certiorari direction of order call of records of the 1st respondent relating to his order dated 3.11.2003 in D.Dis.P & E I(3)/26542/02 (confirming in the order of the 2nd respondent dated 12.06.2002 in Mu-Mu.(M4) 37429/02 cancelling the petitioner's L-2 License) and quash that order dated 03.11.2003.
Prayer in W.P.No.22169 of 2004 The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Certiorari, to call for records of the 1st respondent relating to his order dated 09.03.2004, in D.Dis.P & E I(3)/ 15573/03 (confirming the order of the 2nd respondent dated 13.03.2004, in Mu-Mu.(M4) 956/03, rejecting the petitioner's application for L-2 License) and quash that order dated 09.03.2004.

COMMON O R D E R In these Writ Petitions, the petitioners have challenged the orders passed by the first respondent, by which, licence L-2 granted in their favour, bearing Licence Nos.19/2000-01 and No.362 respectively were cancelled. 2.
At the time, when the Writ Petitions were entertained, no interim order was granted, and notice alone was ordered in the stay petitions. Admittedly, even the original licence held by the petitioners have expired. Therefore, no useful purpose would be achieved in keeping this Writ Petitions pending and they are closed, giving liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedy in accordance with law, if still a need arise to do so. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition are closed.
