O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus directing the respondents to settle the retirement benefits to the petitioner for the service rendered by him with the second respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has sent a representation 02.04.2024, seeking to settle his terminal benefits, and such representation is yet to be considered by the second respondent.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the respondents would fairly submit that they will consider the petitioner's representation within a reasonable time.

In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.04.2024, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
