Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to mutate the revenue records and issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of subject property by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.05.2024.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to mutate the revenue records and issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of subject property by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.05.2024.

2. Heard both sides. With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. On perusal of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 04.05.2024, it is seen that the property originally stood in the name of the petitioner's grandfather Murugappan. However, it is not clear that how the petitioner claims exclusive right over the property and seeking to Page No.2 of 4

issue patta in his name. When the same is pointed out, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would submit a fresh representation giving full details about the exclusive right of the petitioner over the subject property.

4. Therefore, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation seeking mutation of revenue records. No costs.
