No.E7/2016/15072-1 to 15072-22, dated 14.07.2016 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to promote the petitioner for the post of Professor in the respondent University in Tamil Department.

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the impugned order passed by the respondent in his proceedings Advt. No.E7/2016/15072-1 to 15072-22, dated 14.07.2016 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to promote the petitioner for the post of Professor in the respondent University in Tamil Department. 2.According to the petitioner, the notification under challenge is for the post of Professor in Tamil. But, the learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions would submit that the Agenda as per the advertisement is only for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Assistant Professor in Tamil is called for not Professor in Tamil.
