WMP No.25878 of 2024 in W.P. No.29117 of 2018 S.SOUNTHAR, J.

The writ petition is filed challenging the order passed by the first respondent cancelling assignment in favour of the petitioner. At the time of hearing of the writ petition, it was reported by the first respondent that the subject matter of the land was assigned in favour of the 4th respondent subsequent to the cancellation of the assignment. Therefore, the petitioner wants to amend the prayer so as to challenge G.O.(Ms) No.341 (Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Land Reforms Wing, LR.1(1) Section) dated 19.09.2018 under which allotment was made to the 4th respondent.

2. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this petition is allowed and the petitioner is permitted to amend the prayer.

3. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title.
