The petitioners herein are named accused in Crime No.13 of 2024, which is under investigation by Sub-Inspector of Police, Sooramangalam A.W.P.S.

2. These petitioners were granted anticipatory bail on 27.06.2024 on condition they should report before the respondent police daily until further orders. They have complied the said condition for about a month and therefore filed an application for relaxing the said condition. The Principal Session Judge has duly considered the request and modified the condition to report before the respondent police every Saturday and Sunday at 10.00 a.m. until further orders. This order was passed on 23.07.2024. In compliance with the modified order they have appeared before the Investigation Officer on 03.08.2024 and 04.08.2024. They are before this Court for further relaxing the condition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states that they have fully cooperated for the investigation and the investigation is almost completed, therefore their reporting before the Investigation Officer twice in a week is not necessary and further it is difficult for the petitioners to 2/5

comply with the said order, since they are residents of Hyderabad and the complaint is being investigated by the police at Salem.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that within one month final report will be filed in this case.

5. Taking note of the change in circumstance and the investigation is almost completed, the petitioners are directed to report before the respondent police on 31.08.2024. Thereafter, they shall appear before the Investigation Officer as and when required on receipt of summons for appearance.

6. With the above modification, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
