Common Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.255/2021/A-1 dated 13.03.2021, proceedings in Na.Ka.No.203/2020/A-1 dated 14.06.2021, proceedings in Na.Ka.No.203/2020/A-1 dated 05.06.2021 and proceedings in Na.Ka.No.203/2020/A-1 dated 19.06.2021 respectively issued by the second
respondent, quash the same and direct the second respondent to extend the benefits of G.O.Ms.No.29 dated 25.02.2021 issued by the first respondent to the petitioner.

It is the case of the petitioners that the first respondent has issued G.O.Ms.No.29, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (S) Department dated 25.02.2021 increasing the age of Tamil Nadu State Government employees to 60 years and in the light of the said Government Order, the petitioners have submitted a representations to implement the said Government Order by cancelling the impugned proceedings and to reinstate the petitioners in service and since the representation of the petitioners was not considered, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's services were not regularized and they are working on consolidated wages and in G.O.Ms.No.26, Personnel and
Administrative Reforms (S) Department dated 25.02.2021, it is very clear that it applies to all employees of Government and Government aided educational institutions, Legal and Constitutional bodies, Public Sector Undertakings, Local Bodies. Commissions, Boards and Societies and therefore, following the Government Order, the respondents have not taken any decision on the representation submitted by the petitioners seeking extension of their service for a further period of two years.
4. Accepting the stand taken by the respondents, this Court does not find any merit in the writ petitions. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions stand dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
