This petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.873 of 2010, pending investigation on the file of the respondent police and to quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On the complaint lodged by one Palanisamy, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.873 of 2010 on 30.07.2010 for the offences u/s.147, 323, 506(ii) IPC against the petitioner, challenging which the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, investigation in Crime No.873 of 2010 has been completed and the case has been closed as "mistake of fact" on 31.07.2010 and the Closure Report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Coimbatore on 14.12.2011.
