Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from putting up any construction in S.No.72/8, i.e. Water channel in Sembakurichi, Chinnasalem Taluk, Kallakurichi District pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2023.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.R.Thirumoorthy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. Learned State Government Pleader submits that the subject writ land was inspected on 16.09.2023. The Block Development Officer has stopped the construction of Anganwadi and no further construction is being put up and an alternative site is being located in order to shift the Anganwadi. Anganwadi will be shifted and the stream will be maintained without any impediment to the flow of

water.

3. The above statement is recorded.

4. In view of that, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
