The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the appeal filed by the petitioner was dismissed on 27.11.2019 and the earlier counsel had not handed over the copy of the order to him. Thereafter, due to pandemic, he could not meet his counsel and only during the month of September 2021, he arranged to file copy application through a new counsel and it was made ready on 16.09.2021. He would submit that there is a delay of 27 days.

2.The learned counsel for the respondent vehemently opposes for condonation of delay.

3.Taking into consideration of the pandemic and also the delay is only 27 days, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, the delay is condoned on condition that the petitioner pays a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) to the Advocate Welfare Fund, Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry within the period of one week.
