By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The case of the petitioner is that while he was working as Village Assistant at Katheri Village in Sankagiri Taluk, Salem District, he was falsely implicated in a criminal case in Crime No.12/AC/2011 and thereafter, he was placed under suspension by the second respondent dated 26.08.2011. Aggrieved over the prolonged suspension, the petitioner gave representation dated 09.10.2014 to the second respondent to reinstate him into service. Since it was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.N.Moorthi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Srinivasan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.This Court, taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.10.2014 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
