ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.1431 of 2011 on the file of the respondent police and quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the criminal original petition has become infructuous, since the case in Cr.No.1431 of 2011 which was pending before Thudiyalur Police Station, Coimbatore subsequently got transferred to District Crime Branch, Coimbatore and re-numbered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

as Cr.No.47 of 2011. Thereafter, the said case in Cr.No.47 of 2011 was challenged before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.3449 of 2014, wherein this Court by an order dated 14.02.2014, quashed the same. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this criminal original petition.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the present criminal original petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
