PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, praying to direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Chengalpet (Special Judge for SC/ST Act cases) to consider the petitioner's bail application to be filed on the same day on her surrender in Crime No.12 of 2022 pending investigation on the file of second respondent.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Chengalpet (Special Judge for SC/ST Act cases), to accept the surrender of the petitioner herein concerned in Crime No.12 of 2022 on the file of second respondent and consider the bail petition on the same day itself.

2. Heard Mr.N.Arun Kumar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents.

The case in Crime No.12 of 2022 on the file of respondent was registered for offences u/s.9(f), 10 and 17 of the Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 altered into Sections 9(f), 10 r/w 17, 11(1)(IV) r/w 12 of the Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and 3(1)(w)(i)(ii) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015.

4. Considering the nature of allegations and the role played by the 2/4
