ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to extend the time for complying the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.10402 of 2025 in Crl.R.C.No.677 of 2025 dated 09.06.2025 by this Court, thereby directed the petitioner to deposit the entire cheque amount ie., Rs.2,25,000/- within a period of four weeks from that day.

It is seen that while suspending the sentence, this Court by an order dated 09.06.2025, in Crl.M.P.No.10402 of 2025 in Crl.R.C.No.677 of 2025, imposed one of the conditions that, the petitioner shall deposit the entire cheque amount ie., Rs.2,25,000/-, after deducting the amount which was already deposited by the petitioner, if any, to the credit of S.T.C.No.108 of 2022 on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Thiruvallur, within a period of four weeks from that day. To extend the time to comply the said condition, the petitioner filed the present petition. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to serious illness of his family member and financial situation, he could not able to comply the condition. Hence he prayed to extend the time to comply the said condition.

Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to extend the time till 21.07.2025 and the petitioner shall comply

the said condition on or before 21.07.2025 failing which, the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.10402 of 2025 in Crl.R.C.No.677 of 2025, dated 09.06.2025 shall automatically stand cancelled. The respondent is at liberty to take steps to secure the petitioner to undergo the remaining period of sentence imposed by the trial Court and confirmed by the appellate Court.

Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
