.. Respondents Prayer: Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the third respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2016 expeditiously as per law with opportunity of hearing.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that he is an agriculturist and he along with his family is doing the agricultural operation in the lands comprised in S.Nos.612/1, 612/3 and 613/2, admeasuring to an extent of 2.35 hectares and in between their lands, the Government Poramboke land to an extent of 1 hectare in S.No.618 Kottur Village is also in their possession and enjoyment. They approached the respondents in the form of representation dated 23.07.2016 to convey the said land in their favour subject to the payment of necessary costs and since it is pending and sought to be given disposal, came forward with this petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer and without going into the merits of the same, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the first respondent along with a copy of this order as well as the copy of the earlier representation dated 23.07.2016, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the first respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider the said representation, in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of ten weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
