Respondent Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records connected with the Publication of Results dated 08.10.2012 for the post of Assistant Conservator of Forest, issued by the respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to revaluate the marks of the candidates based on the final answer key which is yet to be published and publish the entire mark list of those who appeared in the written examination and publish the statement of allocation of 6 vacancy on Vertical/ Horizontal manner for communal and social reservation which is not mentioned in the notification No.17 dated 02.05.2012.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for both sides. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submitted that after the written examination was conducted by the respondent between 30.06.2012 and 06.07.2012, the answer key for the said examination was hosted in the official website on 09.07.2012. Since the petitioner and other candidates have raised certain discrepancies in the answer key, the matter was referred to expert in the field and the expert have verified and confirmed the answer keys as proper. According to the learned counsel, as per the opinion rendered by the expert, the petitioner has not reached the zone of consideration for selection and appointment to the post of Assistant Conservator of Forest and therefore, he was not considered for selection to the said post. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the relief sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted. The writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently MP Nos. 1 and 2 are closed.
