This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report within the stipulated time and take necessary action to include the name of the said J.C.Babulal as accused in Crime No.131 of 2016 pending investigation before the respondent police according to law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that investigation in Crime No.131 of 2016 is almost completed and if four months time is granted by this Court, the investigation would be completed and final report would be filed by the respondent police before the concerned Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, in accordance with law, under due intimation to the petitioner.
