ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondentPolice to issue a Non Traceable Certificate in respect of the loss of the original Sale Deed dated 26.03.1990 registered as Document No.2262/1990 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Adyar, Chennai by considering the petitioner's Complaint dated 09.05.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police submitted that the enquiry/procedures on the petitioner's representation is under progress and he seeks time to complete the procedures 2/4

and disposal of the petitioner's petition.

4. In view of the above submission, the respondent-Police is directed to expedite the procedures and also consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.08.2024 and pass orders in accordance with law within a reasonable time.
