Criminal Original Petitions filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking to direct the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ariyalur, Ariyalur District to conclude the trial in C.C. Nos.86,85 and 83 of 2014 within a stipulated time.

Public Prosecutor COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed seeking to direct the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ariyalur, Ariyalur District to conclude the trial in C.C.Nos.86,85 and 83 of 2014 within a stipulated time.
Today, when these matters were taken up for hearing, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has given wrong C.C. Numbers, both in the petitions and in the prayer portions, viz., C.C.Nos.86,85 and 83 of 2014, instead of C.C. Nos.186 of 2014, 185 of 2014 and 183 of 2014 respectively.
The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that out of 8 witnesses, 4 witnesses have been examined and if some time is granted, the other four witnesses also will be examined.
Under such circumstances, the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ariyalur, Ariyalur District is directed to complete the trial in C.C. Nos.186, 185 and 183 of 2014 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on condition that the petitioner cooperates in the trial by cross-examining the witnesses on the date they are examinedin-chief and by not adopting dilatory tactics. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
