This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.684 of 2016, on the file of respondent police, and file a final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate Court, expeditiously.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
3. It is seen that the case has been registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C.
4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the Tahsildar, Arakkonam has not even sent the inquest report to the respondent police.
5. Under such circumstances, no positive direction can be issued to the petitioner as prayed for. However, the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
police is directed to conduct the investigation as expeditiously as possible.
Accordingly, the petition is closed.
