PRAYER: The Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent in RC No.155/2024/M6-D.O.No.33/2024 dated 06.07.2024 against the petitioner's husband Perumal @ Pattu Perumal S/o Kothandapani Male aged 41 years now confined in Central Prison, Vellore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.5967, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 28.08.2024.

Therefore, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
