Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to investigate the complaint made by the petitioner which was culminated into CSR.No.294 of 2022 in terms of Section 558A of Tamilnadu Police Standing Order, pursuant to the proceeding issued by the second respondent transferring the investigation from third respondent to fourth respondent along with FIR's in crime No.190/2022, 191/2022, 192/2022 and 213/2022 relating to the same occurrence in an effective manner.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the fourth respondent to investigate the complaint made by the petitioner which was culminated into CSR.No.294 of 2022 in terms of Section 558A of Tamilnadu Police Standing Order.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.

The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the respondents submitted that on receipt of the complaint, after issuance of CSR, the complaint was forwarded to the file of the Inspector of Police, CBCID, Chennai on 18.07.2023.

Therefore, the Inspector of Police, CBCID, Chennai is directed to enquire the said complaint and dispose of the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
