..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to accept the principal amount and to close the petitioner's ATL (Agricultural Term Loan) loan account and to return the original documents pledged for the above transaction.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2023.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 02.01.2023 before the respondents 1 and 2 to

accept the principal amount and to close the Agricultural Term Loan and to return the original documents pledged for the above transaction. However, the same was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that in the event the petitioner makes appropriate application for closing the term loan and to return the original documents, the same will be considered by the respondents.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. In such view of the matter, this Court directs the petitioner to make suitable application before the concerned bank for closing the term loan and to return the original documents. On receipt of such application, the concerned bank is directed to consider the same, as expeditiously as possible. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
