Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.10.2010 and thereby direct the 2nd respondent to cancel the allotment made to the petitioner's daughter namely Selvi.Neelamalar in the 3rd respondent college under the Management Quota consequently allot the seat to the petitioner's daughter in the 3rd respondent college in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (for short B.D.S.) Course under the Schedule Caste Community Quota and admit her in the 3rd respondent college.

When the case was taken up for hearing on 09.02.2018, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted today i.e., on 14.02.2018, under the caption "for dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner either in person or through his learned counsel.

2.Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed for default. No costs.
