PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent herein to register the complaint dated 25.10.2021 (C.S.R.No.533 of 2021) lodged by the petitioner.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent herein to register the complaint dated 25.10.2021 (C.S.R.No.533 of 2021) lodged by the petitioner. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner had lodged a complaint on 25.10.2021, though C.S.R.No.533 of 2021 has been assigned, no action has been taken. The petitioner is the estranged wife of one Sakthi Balaji, who said to have taken away the petitioner's gold jewelleries and retained with him and he also assaulted the petitioner. Hence, the above said petition is filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submits that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner dated 25.10.2021, C.S.R.No.533 of 2021 assigned and enquiry conducted. The petitioner was called for enquiry on the same day. During enquiry, it was found that the complaint involves matrimonial dispute, hence, the complaint was forwarded to the Social Welfare Officer on 04.11.2021. The report is yet to be received https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

from the Social Welfare Officer. After receiving the report from the Social Welfare Officer, appropriate steps would be taken by the respondent police.
