ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register case on the petitioner's complaint dated 12.07.2022 and file final report.

2. It is seen that similar complaint had been received from another victim and registered a case in Crime No.2 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 420, 406 and 120b on the file of the Inspector of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Vellore. The petitioner is also one of the victim and as such the petitioner may be treated as one of the victim and witness in the said crime.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances, the Inspector of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Vellore, is directed to treat the petitioner as one of the victim and witness in the FIR.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
