Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to not to install the electrical transformer in front of the house of the petitioner, bearing door No.16/24, Pillaiyar Koil 5th Street, Ekkattuthangal. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

2. The petitioner has come forward with is Writ Petition, seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to not to install the electrical transformer in front of the house of the petitioner, bearing door No.16/24, Pillaiyar Koil 5th Street, Ekkattuthangal.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that due to the objection from the petitioner, the respondent-Electricity Board has now installed the transformer at Kangaiamman Koil Street. It is further submitted that the respondents have no proposal at present to install the transformer in front of the house of the petitioner. The letter of the 4th respondent, dated 19.03.2018 has been placed before this Court for perusal.

4. Recording the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. -sd/- Assistant Registrar True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar pvs To
