ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) The petitioner has given a representation on 28.06.2024 to the fourth respondent, which is the Authority of the Town Vending Committee, to consider the request of the petitioner for grant of license for street vending. In order to consider the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation would submit that such an application, if at all made to the Town Vending Committee, it must be made in the prescribed format and if any such application is made in the prescribed format, the same would be considered by the fourth respondent on merits and in accordance with law.

3. With regard to the said stand taken by the learned Standing Counsel, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders:- (i) It is open to the petitioner to make an

application in the prescribed format to the fourth respondent, seeking such street vending license and on receipt of the said application, made in the prescribed format, the same shall be considered and decided by the Town Vending Committee, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such application made in the prescribed format.

4. With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
