ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take action against the 6th respondent and to permit the petitioner's family and their relatives to participate in the temple festival that is going to be held between 18.07.2025 to 23.07.2025. 2.When the writ petition was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader produced the written instructions received from the 4th respondent and the relevant portions are extracted hereunder:
4/7 3.Heard Mr.M.Vijaya Ragavan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.G.Velu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4.
5/7 4.It is clear from the written instructions given by the 4th respondent that even during the year 2024, there was a dispute and a Peace Committee Meeting was conducted and thereafter, everyone was allowed to participate in the festival without giving raise to any law and order problem. A similar attempt is now being made by convening a Peace Committee Meeting on 11.07.2025. In view of the same, the 4th respondent shall talk with all the concerned parties and ensure that everyone is allowed to participate in the festival without giving raise to any law and order problem.
