O R D E R

Heard Mr.R.Balachanderan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioners have approached this Court, seeking the following relief:- "To issue a writ of Mandamus, to dispose of Petitioner's Application in O.A.No.10 of 2008 pending on the file of the Joint Commissioner, the Hindu Religious and Endowment Board, (Administrative Department), Vellore-9, within the time limit as may be fixed by this Court."

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented on behalf of the respondent that the Original Application in O.A.No.10 of 2008, is still pending before the respondent and the finality has not been reached.

4. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, even the Writ Petition has been filed and pending, the matter still has not yet been disposed of.

5. In view of the limited prayer being sought for in the writ petition, this Court directs the respondent to complete the process and adjudicate the case in O.A.No.10 of 2008 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
