ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioner/son of the 2nd respondent, seeking for transfer of investigation in Cr.No.401/2019 from the file of the 1st respondent to CBCID or any other investigating agency. 1/4

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the grievance of the petitioner is that his father/2nd respondent has committed the murder of his mother and as such, seeks for transfer of investigation from the file of the 1st respondent to any other investigating agency. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent/State would submit that the investigation in Cr.No.401/2019 has been completed and the Final Report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirukoilur, stating ''Further Action Dropped'' and the intimation has been sent to the 2nd respondent/father of the petitioner herein. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the criminal original petition is closed.

However, a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to serve a copy of the final report along with the required documents on the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if the petitioner is so aggrieved by such a final report, he is entitled to challenge the same in accordance with law before the competent Forum.
