Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct respondents to dispose the representation made on 22/02/2021 by the petitioner.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ of Mandamus seeking direction against the respondent by stating that she has given a representation to consider her for a suitable job offered to children of freedom fighters.

2. Heard, Mr.V.Nandagopalan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.Chezhiyan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner has submitted that her father was a freedom fighter and he has been awarded a government pension considering his service to the nation. Since the petitioner's representation dated 22.02.2021 seeking employment has not been considered so far, the petitioner has come out with this writ petition.

4. The respondent did not state that the petitioner is not the daughter of the 2/4

freedom fighter and her representation dated 22.02.2021 also remains to be considered.

5. Since the petitioner's representation has not been considered so far, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.02.2021 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with the law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
