ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned online rejection order passed by the respondent dated 24.06.2025, wherein, the application submitted by the petitioner seeking for legal heirship certificate of the deceased Ganapathy was rejected.

3/6 2.Heard Mr.S.Ilamvaludhi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3.It is seen from records that the deceased Ganapathy had married the petitioner and through the wedlock, petitioners 2 to 5 were born. He also married another women named Rajakumari. The same is evident from the Service Record placed before this Court, where the names of both the wives has been mentioned. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the said Rajakumari has died. 4.In view of the above, the respondent can very well issue the legal heir ship certificate in the name of the petitioners. Accordingly, the impugned online rejection order of the respondent dated 24.06.2025, is hereby set aside. There shall be a direction to the respondent to issue legal heirship certificate in the name of the petitioners, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
