By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself. 1/5
2. The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider his revision dated 09.05.2024 and pass an order on merits after granting him a personal hearing within a reasonable time, which may be stipulated by this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has already filed a writ petition in W.P.No.17554 of 2011 seeking refixation of his seniority by including his name in the list of Deputy Tahsildar Post. This Court, vide order dated 21.04.2023 disposed of the said writ petition by directing the Authorities to dispose the proposal of the petitioner. Thereafter, a contempt petition was also filed by the petitioner and the same was also closed by directing the 3rd respondent therein to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation. Thereafter, the petitioner sent a representation to the 2nd respondent on 28.02.2024 and the same was rejected by the 2nd respondent, vide his order dated 15.04.2024. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that aggrieved against 2/5
the order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 15.04.2024, he has preferred a revision petition in Revision Petition No.1 of 2024 on 09.05.2024 and such revision is yet to be considered by the 1st respondent.
5. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that they would consider the petitioner's revision petition, within a reasonable time.
6. In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's revision petition dated 09.05.2024 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 11.07.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking order /Non Speaking Order dm 3/5
