The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner made a submission that the present writ petition has been filed challenging the order of transfer and during the pendency of the writ petition, the writ petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation.

2. Thus, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, there is no order as to costs.
