ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is to consider and dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 23.06.2025.

2. Upon hearing the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, it is the grievance of the petitioners that they have absolute right, title and interest over the property for more than 11 years. While they were in absolute possession, certain private individuals, namely their brothers and other relatives, who have no right, title or interest are interfering with their possession and enjoyment of the property.

3. In such cases, the respondent police cannot directly grant police protection. It is for the petitioners to approach the jurisdictional Civil Court and depending on the interim order/injunction/decree that may be granted by the Civil Court, the police shall grant protection. As and when the petitioners produce such an order, the respondent police are directed to grant protection accordingly.
