COMMON O R D E R These petitions have been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his wife.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent Police have been calling the petitioner at odd hours, though the case is pending against him. The petitioner feels that he would be subjected to physical harassment.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the petitioner's son-in-law viz., Selvaraj in the case in Crime No.421 of 2021 for the offence under Sections 457 & 380 of IPC, in his confession statement, has said the name of the petitioner with regard to stolen property and hence, for the purpose of enquiry, the petitioner is needed. Further the petitioner's son-in-law of Selvaraj has five cases against him, he is a professional offender and is involved in theft of jewelery and the other valuable items.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions, submits that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent Police on 03.12.2021.

5. In view of the same, the respondent Police is directed to conduct the investigation.

6. With the above directions, these Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
