Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the 2nd respondent in impugned order in IEAK.No.P2RTN/2095/16 dated under signed 16.08.2016 and quash the same and consequently directing the 2nd respondent to accept the petitioner proforma-I, S.No.0194808 and issue name transfer certificate in favour of petitioner's son.

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner is born as a Hindu, he wants to add the name of his ideal viz., Daniel, who is said to be a famous Football Player in Scotland, in his name without changing the religion and accordingly, submitted an application for change of name through a Gazette notification to the second respondent and it was returned stating that Form-II to be filled up along with the Religion Conversion Certificate and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
challenging the legality of the same, the petitioner came forward to file this Writ Petition.
3. Heard the submission of Mr.K.Thangapandi, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances, permits the petitioner through his mother viz., A.Rathika, to submit a detailed representation to the second respondent giving out the above said details within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the second respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider the said representation, after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the mother of the petitioner and thereafter, pass orders in accordance with law within a further period of two weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
5. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
