This petition has been filed to amend the claim in MCOP.No.582 of 2005 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/Additional District Judge cum Fast Track Court No.5, Tiruppur, as Rs.40,00,000- instead of Rs.15,00,000/-.

2.Without prejudice to the rights of the respondents, to raise all objections with regard to the quantum of compensation, CMP.No.18725 of 2019 is allowed.

3.This Court is satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of CMP.No.18725 of 2019.

4.Accordingly, CMP.No.18725 of 2019 is allowed as prayed for. However, it is made clear that if the compensation is enhanced by this Court, the claimant is liable to pay the Court fee for the enhanced amount.

5.Registry is directed to list the main appeal on 07.10.2020.
