Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.08.2016 sent by the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner would state that originally he was a resident at Door No.26, Navalar Nagar (Lock Nagar), Swami Sivananda Salai, Triplicane, Chennai - 600 005. Since it has become dilapidated, he was called upon to vacate the premises by way of temporary measure and at present he is residing in nearby premises and he applied for necessary electricity service connection to the concerned authorities, they insisted for permanent allotment order from the third respondent and in this regard, he also submitted a representation dated 11.07.2016 as well as 21.08.2016 to the respondents and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr,S.V.S.Ilamvazhuthi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.V.Babu, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2016 in accordance with law and pass orders within

a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
