Heard Mr.K.Soundararajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Mr.K.Venkatesh, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents. With the consent of either side, the writ petition is taken up for disposal. 2.The petitioner challenges the goods detention noticehttps://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
cum-show cause notice issued to the petitioner, whereby, the goods along with the vehicle have been detained. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to pay the one time tax of Rs.8,80,311/- and request that the goods may be released and the petitioner will challenge the demand of compounding fee by filing a revision before the revisional authority. 4.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents does not seriously oppose the prayer sought for. 5.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of by directing the petitioner to pay the one time tax Rs.8,80,311/- to the second respondent and on such payment, the goods in question along with the vehicle shall forthwith be released. Thereafter, within a period of two weeks therefrom, the petitioner is directed to file a revision petition before the concerned revisional authority. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
