Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.08.2015 for Patta transfer in favour of the petitioner. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that his father was the auction purchaser in respect of the land in S.Nos.11/1 and 11/2 having patta No.382 situate at Sathapadi Village, Virudhachalam Taluk, Cuddalore District and in respect of S.No.11/1 patta was granted. Insofar as the other survey number is concerned, the second respondent had also made a recommendation to the Revenue https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Divisional Officer, Virudhachalam, vide letter daed 27.06.2016 in O.Mu/No.A3/894/2016 and however, no orders have been passed and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Karunagaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances, directs the Revenue Divisional Officer, Virudhachalam to act on the communication of the second respondent dated 27.06.2016 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
