O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members pursuant to the representation dated 02.08.2024 sent to the 1st and 3rd respondents.

2. Based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner seeking police protection, F.I.R has been registered in Crime No.533 of 2023 for offences punishable under Sections 427, 294(b), and 506(i) of the IPC. Despite, the counterparty continued to threaten the petitioner with dire consequences.

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the third respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.533 of 2023, within a period of 12 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 06.02.2025 Index : Yes/No : Yes/No Speaking/non-speaking order
