ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to provide the petitioner with the required legal heir certificate. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the husband of the petitioner passed away on 14.12.1978 due to an accident at his work place, leaving behind his wife (the petitioner herein), and his daughter D.Manimekalai. Despite repeated representations made by the petitioner to the second respondent for grant of legal heir certificate, went in vain. Hence this writ petition.

3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

4.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is suffice that the representation of the petitioner is directed to be disposed of by the second respondent within a time frame. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.01.2016, which is the last one made by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four months (as the date of death is 14.12.1978) from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
