O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.11.2016 in accordance with law, by not harassing the petitioner's family except by due process of law.
2.
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. According to the petitioner, he sent a representation dated 22.11.2016 by registered post to the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu Police Department, Chennai-600 004, making https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
allegations against Mr.Chandrasekar, Inspector of Police, Poonamallee Police Station, Chennai.
4. On a reading of the representation, it is seen that according to the petitioner, Deepa had given a complaint dated 09.09.2016 to the Inspector of Police, Poonamallee Police Station and in order to close the complaint, the Inspector of Police, Poonamallee Police Station had demanded Rs.5 lakhs from the petitioner and that the petitioner had paid Rs.50,000/- on 08.08.2016. The said fact is unbelievable, because even according to the petitioner, Deepa had given the complaint only on 09.09.2016 and how can the Inspector of Police demand and receive money on 08.08.2016? Admittedly three cases viz., Crime No.938 of 2016, Crime No.988 of 2016 and Crime No.1006 of 2016 have been registered against the son of the petitioner. Perhaps to derail the investigations, the petitioner is making such reckless allegations against the police.
In the result, this petition is dismissed as being devoid of merits.
