ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the petitioner's complaint dated 09.04.2022 to the second respondent Police.

2.Heard Mr.R.Balaguru Swamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Santhosh, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. It is seen that there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 5 herein. Already, in respect of the property owned by the third respondent, she has filed a suit and it is pending as against the petitioner herein. Therefore, the request made by the petitioner cannot be considered by this Court.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this court is not inclined to provide police protection to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, 2/4

the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Civil Court for appropriate relief in the manner known law.
