This writ petition is filed for issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to take necessary legal steps to consider the application of the petitioner dated 11.08.2016 and give low tension energy temporary electricity connection to his house situated at No.9, Thiruneermalai Main Road, Kalangalmadai, Lakshmipuram, Thiruneermalai, Chromepet, Chennai - 600 044.

Admittedly, the petitioner has constructed a house in a Government Poramboke land and residing therein. Since the petitioner has encroached upon Government Poramboke land, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

relief sought by the petitioner, namely, to provide electricity service connection to his residence, cannot be granted. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
