This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to accept the petitioner's online application in Application

No.202420659840 dated 29.05.2024 and consequently, direct the respondents to permit her to participate in the counselling process based upon her cut off marks.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner she has completed 12th standard for the academic year 2023-24 and secured 470 out of 500 with a cut off mark of 187 out of 200. To pursue agricultural course, he submitted an online application seeking admission in Bsc Agriculture in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University on 29.05.2024 and the same was rejected. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition before this Court seeking appropriate remedy.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 29.05.2024 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 21.08.2024 rli To
